Sankranthi eve Competitions held for women

Festivals are the symbols of our culture and traditions. On the occasion of Sankranti festival, competitions were conducted for women who are getting self employment training in the Women Welfare Centre of CR Foundation under the joint guidance of Friends Welfare Association and Komirisetti Foundation, First, second, third and 5 incentive prizes were handedover to the winners of the competitions,


Komirisetti Foundation President Komirisetty Saibaba and Friends Welfare Association Convenor Tadiboina Ramaswamy Yadavulu, CR Foundation Treasurer V. Chennakesava Rao while speaking, said "  Cleanliness, health, decorations are the three things" .

These competitions provide an opportunity to unleash the creative power within women. Indian culture and traditions are fading away after the rise of the culture of apartments in the wake of urbanisation. Today's young generation is also conducting these competitions to continue our ancient culture and traditions" said. " The surroundings will be clean because of these three. Ants will join to eat rice flour by eating rice flour with cow. This is how ants prevent insects and insects from entering the house. Women have to work through a lot of physical labor in the process of putting muggulu. Doctors said that this exercise procedure is likely to prevent many uterine diseases in women. So every woman especially this whole month will get up and start making muggulu"

Director of Women Welfare Center Smt. Josyabhatla Kalpana acted as a judge for the competitions. 75 girl students and women participated in these competitions. In this program, women welfare center committee member Mrs. V. Lalitha, Smt. Vanka Lakshmi and Friends Welfare Association members Shivarama Krishna and others participated.
