CR Foundation service programs started in the capital as well.
An old age home constructed on a span of 5 acres in Kondapur, Hyderabad under the auspices of Chandra Rajeswararao Foundation has stood as the ideal centre for old age care in the country. In a pleasant environment, this old age home, operated with humanitarian values, provides shelter and care to many.
One of the last wishes of CPI great leader Chandra Rajeswara Rao garu is to serve the aged. For that determination, former Chief Minister Dr. Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy garu's principle agreement is clear, then with the initiative of late Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao garu, took a step forward. At last, Joint Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu solved the technical problems and cooperated to complete the construction of the building.
As a result, the CR Foundation Old Age Home has been recognized as the ideal old age home across the country.
After the separation of the state, the absence of CR Foundation service organization in the capital area of Andhra Pradesh was considered as a light. In this background, we met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu and requested to allocate land for the foundation in the capital area.
Chief Minister responded positively to this proposal and instructed concerned minister Narayana to take necessary steps. We hope that this process will be implemented very soon and elderly service programs will be expanded in the capital area as per the aspirations of Chandra Rajeswararao garu.
On this occasion, we met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu and gave details about CR Foundation activities, old age homes expansion plans and establishment of new old age homes in Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. K Narayana, Honorary Chairman,
Chandra Rajeswara Rao Foundation (CR Foundation)
