Veerayya, Jyothi, CR Foundation presidents Muppalla Nageswar Rao, Secretary Chennamaneni Venkateswar Rao, Treasurer V. Satyanarayana and others paid tribute to the body of Sakhamuri Suguna by covering the Red flag and garlands. On this occasionWhile Narayana was talking, he said that Shakamuri Sugunamma was one of the women prominent people who participated actively in the Telangana armed struggle and communist movement. As the leader of the National Women's Federation of India, she has brought a new twist to the women's movement. Dr Narayana said that she educated women about their rights and encouraged them to come forward and participate in the movement, for the communist party, the women's federation, her services and sacrifices are inspiring.
