Chandra Rajeswararao Foundation for Social Progress CR Foundation Kondapur Hyderabad, a play show was held on Saturday 13 June at Indrajit Gupta Hall.

Honorable President of Chandra Rajeswararao Foundation Dr. K Narayana garu attended as a chief guest in this program and appreciated the artists by watching the performance.

"Surabhi" who has 140 years of rich history of drama industry should be encouraged - not poor culture

The government should give special encouragement to the drama "Surabhi" which has been entertaining the people for 140 years by giving Telugu culture, traditions and art splendor to generations. Art institutions like Surabhi are not only symbols of our cultural heritage but also art centers that impart values, consciousness and creativity to the society.

Governments should give more priority to drama societies like Surabhi who preserve art values and enhance cultural consciousness among people, rather than the importance given to programs that promote underrated culture in the name of entertainment.

Instead of providing special discounts and incentives only for luxurious, heavy budget movies, special measures should be taken to save traditional theater, folk arts and rangasthala artists who are facing financial difficulties.

It is the responsibility of society and governments to preserve true art and culture. By protecting and promoting the drama "Surabhi" which symbolizes the glory of Telugu art, we can pass on our cultural wealth to the future generations.

In this drama show, Telangana Language and Culture Department advisory board members, Prajanatya Mandali State General Secretary Palle Narasimha, CR Poly Clinic Director K Rajini, AITUC senior leader Prema Pavani, Kanaparthi Jotsna, Old age home advisory committee members N Rajendra Rao, Mallampati Venkateswara Rao, Five Eyes Arunakumari, Tammareddy Tania, Old age home residents, Home Manager Srinivas, Surabhi Drama Theater President Vasudevarao, Prajanatyamandali artists Kuna Sudhakar, Dappu Ramaswamy and others participated.

The old age home residents appreciated the artists who performed theatrics.
