Dr. P. Saraswathi Memorial Meeting

CR Foundation, women, social service well wisher Smt. Dr. P. Saraswati's commemoration meeting was held on 20th February at the old age home community hall in Kondapur, Hyderabad under the auspices of Chandra Rajeswararao Foundation.

This meeting was presided over by CR Foundation President Muppalla Nageswara Rao.

Dr. Saraswati has been in the ashram for the last 21 years and as a member of the ashram advisory board, many have remembered her services for the development of the ashram, CR foundation, women's union and many other social activities in many ways.

Floral Tributes paid to the replica of Saraswathi by garlanding and with flowers. Two minutes of silence was offered in her honor.

Honorary Chairman of CR Foundation Dr. K Narayana garu spoke that she worked as a superintendent in Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, her life is friendly to all, very active participants in social service programs and lived very happily in the ashram even in the last phase.

CR Foundation General Secretary, Ex MLA Palla Venkata Reddy while speaking said that

She served 11 years free services as an eye doctor at CR Foundation Health Center. CR Polyclinic; she provided medical camps, accommodations, facilities, staff welfare personally and financially till her last breath.

Rajani, Director, CR Polyclinic, Rajendar Rao (Ashram Advisory Board Member), Ashram residents Senior leisure Journalist APK Prasad, retired Scientist Mallampati Venkateswara Rao, Dr. Adapa Rama Rao, Women Welfare Central Committee Members Prema Pavani addressed. Foundation treasurer and old age home director V. Chennakesava Rao conducted the program.

At last Dr. P. Saraswati's son Pabbaraju Srinivas spoke and he said that they are feeling Dr. Saraswati is still in CR Foundation Ashram and thanked CR Foundation organizers for the love and affection shown to their mother. Similarly promised to participate in the foundation development programs.

Freedom fighters Ramireddy gave a speech. Ashram resident Smt. Dhanalakshmi recites the poem written on Dr. Saraswati.

Women welfare center members, CR polyclinic staff, ashram manager Srinivas, ashram residents and others participated.
