CR Foundation New Office-bearers and Execute elected by General Body Meeting

C.R. Foundation general body meeting held on 10th September, 2026. Honarary chairman Dr. K. Narayana presided.

Narayana explained the foundation's overall activities and expansion plans. Buildings and lands have been donated in Kadapa, Guntur and Gudur areas, it is informed that there are plans to build old age homes. In this, it is informed that the old age home in Kadapa has already started and is serving.

Also said that the Andhra Pradesh government has agreed to allocate 3 acres of land in Amaravati, but the land has to be finalized.

Sri Palla Venkat Reddy, Former MLA, General Secretary of the Foundation, presented a report on the activities of the past two years after the last general meeting held in 2024

President Sri Muppalla Nageswara Rao garu has requested the directors of various centers to submit their reports.

Sri V. Chennakesava Rao, Director - Old age home;

Dr. K. Rajani, Director - C.R. Polyclinic & diagnostic center; Dr. .. Suresh Babu, Director - N.R. R. The research center; Mrs J. Kalpana, Director - Women Welfare Centre presented detailed reports, financial details and future expansion plans of their respective centres.

Plans for the future:

- C.R. Polyclinic: Planning to expand services through telemedicine to benefit rural people as well as planning to set up IMA center for poor and needy.

- N.R. R. Research Center: Along with organizing monthly activities for school children, a special coaching center should be started for students preparing for competitive exams;

- Women Welfare Center (MSK): It has been directed to expand the activities from training to production, to develop as a production center in the sewing and saree rolling center.

Following discussions the General Secretary proposed to induct 10 new members into the Foundation, and new executive and office bearers.

Highlight of the conference

Mrs. Subbalakshmi garu, who has been staying in old age home for the last 22 years, handed over a letter that Rs. 25 lakhs will be donated to CR Foundation after her death.. She and her son Kanchi Botla Seshadri Sharma, who lives in Australia, handed over the confirmation letter to the office bearers.

Re-elected honorable chairman Dr. కె. Narayana garu welcomed the suggestions made by the members, discussed them and said that they will be implemented for the benefit of the foundation. Call for all centres to improve their services and serve more people, to form a self-sufficiency model.
