Rich tributes paid to Chandra Rajeswara Rao (CR), the legendary personality of Indian Communist movement, on the occasion of his 27th Anniversary (Vardhanti).
Dr. K. Narayana, President, CR Foundation garlanded the statue of Chandra Rajeswara Rao at CR Foundation Campus, Kondapur, Hyderabad. Dr. Narayana said that though CR was a statesman of world communist movement and conferred with prestigious international awards like "Order of Lenin", he spent a simple life. He remembered the several heroic struggles under the leadership of CR .

Saraswati, Sri SomuriTukaram, Sri Rajender Rao, Manager Srinivas paid floral tributes to CR. Home for aged residents Sri ABK Prasad, Sri Kakarala, Smt. Indurkuri Jhansi, Smt. Vijayalakshmi, Smt. Paruchuri Jamuna and others made floral tributes to CR. Smt. Vimila, from AP Mahilas Samakhya sung revolutionary songs on this occasion. Sri Srisailam Goud, Secretary, CPI Serilingampally Constituency also garlanded CR statue.
